Deluxe Double Room

The Red room is one of our favourite rooms, inside it has a Double bed and a small desk area and comfortable chair that can be used with a laptop. Coffee, tea, rusks and a kettle are provided to make hot drinks, there is also a small fridge and microwave for guests to use. There is plenty of lock up cupboard space for longer staying guests. The bathroom has all the amenities you could need, including a deep bath, a shower, and a bathroom basin. It has lovely views over the front garden and the nature reserve. Outside there is a two seater table and braai facilities for guests to enjoy.

Being a family run establishment, we do have pets on the property: 4 dogs and 1 cat. They are all very friendly. Please keep this in mind when booking.

Lovely hosts and great breakfast. I would definitely recommend that aircons are installed in the rooms. The fan does not do the trick in the KZN heat. One way curtains for the door would also be nice so that you can sleep with the door open in privacy and without mozzies attacking. Bottled water can also enhance the experience, along with cold milk in the fridge.

The best place to stay at if needed a bnb. The beds are amazing. The bathrooms are fabulous. The light switched are so cool. The bath is very big. Very nice place. 5 stars all day every day 🥰

Absolutely amazing! Great value considering the price. Joss was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I’m so excited to visit family again because this is definitely our new spot.

Perfect place to stay as it is value for Money, R650 for the night including breakfast. Such clean and attention to detail. Beautiful views, fresh air, waterfall flowing closely. Joss and his lovely partner spoilt us and we felt at home. Thanks for the lovely evening 🥰

Firstly the hosts Joss and Fran were so accommodating. The rooms and bathroom are neat, clean and spacious. The pool area is to die for. The dogs are so friendly and such good company. The place is scenic, peaceful and it's relaxed. The breakfast was so delicious. There is a variety of bird species as I saw a Hornbill. The Anchorage is close to hiking trails with beautiful views of the waterfall. I really had such a pleasant and enjoyable stay. One night is just not enough and I'm definitely coming back to stay for a good couple nights. The view of mountains is spectacular. What a gem of a place with friendly faces, I could not ask for more. Definitely worth the price. Loved it. Thank you.

The most frightening night of our lives.At 11pm all hell broke loose in the rooms next to us. Very loud banging and voices fighting and a female voice in distress. This continued for about an hour.I phoned the owner and he said all is OK, no problem????IMPOSSIBLE!!!!
